All the rectangles now have a print border. One I had to seam rip off. It was just too dark and I couldn’t wrap my head around it. Now to add another solid border to each and keep it to size I have to eliminate one rectangle.
This is what happens when you don’t have a plan I guess. I do like uneven numbers better though.
Here’s a few.
Have a good weekend.
these look so so so fantastic!
I keep saying it but I love this quilt!
I love it! Its coming together so nicely, the colors are so great! I’m a non planner too, its come back to bite me many times and I just never learn. 🙂
Those are turning out really really pretty!
planning is overrated, in my opinion!!!
Love the colours and fabrics – it’s looking wonderful!
Love the rectangles! They are wonderful!
My mom always says you never do even numbers – always odd, like 3 flags in a crock, or flowers in a pot. So I am a very “odd” person. I don’t like even numbers at all!
These are so pretty and perfect! I wish I could spend more time quilting, patchworking and sewing! And odd = good! 🙂
Can’t wait to see them all come together.
Fantastic so far!
Andi 🙂
They are spectactular! I love the design.
I love these blocks. Can’t wait to see the finished quilt!
You use colour so well, I love the way you use the darks as well as the lights…so effective!
Loving this! 🙂
odd numbers are definitely good. i thought about you when i was running around seattle this weekend. lucky you to live in such a beautiful place.
these are going to be a beautiful piece!
These blocks are so pretty! I have some green/white/blue fabric on order and I can wait to play with it this weekend.
so pretty! i’m loving this color scheme!!!
These are really interesting, original and they look amazing all together. I can’t wait to see them all together.

Thanks for the comments the other day and the reading suggestions. Your quilting is beautiful – I could really learn some things about lining up my squares from you. Can’t wait to follow along and learn more.
love your color choices and the design is so unlike any thing I’ve ever seen before … love it! can hardly wait to see it all put together!
I love those rectangles!! the first one is my fave!
These are such cool blocks, I can’t wait to see how they go together! Sorry to hear about your dog.
Working without a plan provides for surprises, but the result is wonderful and much more fun than working from a pattern!
What a perfect selection of patterns! Crisp and alive!
love all the colors! they are so very pretty and perfect!
Wow! These are beautiful. I like your color combinations. I haven’t done any river stuff yet, but we are thinking of kayaking soon 🙂
[…] am loving how the wedding quilt is coming together and might have photos […]
These look so lovely!
Ooooh, I love this! Your friend will love!
Very cool. And someone already said it – planning is over-rated. Just got to make it work with what you’ve got.
