Closing up shop for the month has been highly productive for projects of my own. An ironing board cover is next on the list.
I originally purchased the teal paisley-like Amy Bulter fabric from her Nigella line for the living room pillows AND the ironing board cover. I might have to go buy myself something from her new August Fields line for the ironing board though. I wouldn’t want to be too coordinated now would I?
I serged muslin to all the cut fabric first. I hate the little quills that stick though down pillows, but love the feel.
I followed Amy Bulter’s directions for an envelope pillow from her Midwest Modern book on the first one, and was disappointed with the result. On the next I cut to the exact measurement of the pillow. This worked great.
I went a little crazy and made some for Roan too.
