Jeffrey and I use to take epic urban hikes all over Seattle when I would come from Flagstaff. We often would slide onto a barstool along the way. These became such a winter favorite we started experimenting at home to save ourselves a buck or 9. You can use any type of citrus, try a ruby red grapefruit or a blood orange. Here’s how we like them best.
Using your halved citrus, rim glass and dip in sugar.
Into shaker filled with ice add:
6 count of citron vodka, but any vodka will do.
3 count of triple sec
3 count of simple syrup, or to taste (just boil some sugar and water til it becomes syrup to make this. keep in frig.)
1/2 of a lemon and a lime
Shake and cheers!
