-Choose which shoulder you wish to wear the sling on and position it. Place the curved-seam of the pouch infront of you.
-Move child into “burp position” opposite the shoulder you are wearing the sling. Position your arm between child’s legs, providing support for their neck with your hand. Using your elbow or hand, open up the pocket of the sling and lower infant cradled by your arm down into it. Adjust child so the sling provides head support. Child will be somewhat sitting up.
-Experiment with child, some like to peek out or be bundled up. Get moving! Movement will help them adjust. You may want to place a folded blanket or two under the length of the child to lift the baby up in the pocket of the sling.
-Child may also be rotated to your side or back in this carry at your own
