Browsing through the December Dwell I came upon it. Something about it really captured me. It’s simple. I have two weddings coming my way next Summer and have my eye out there for fabrics and ideas. This definitely fit into the inspiring category.

Trophy Cupcake in Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle has its sprinkles in all the right places. Check them out. Sorry though, I enjoy my carrot cake cupcakes with coconut. They should have gotten the recipe when they were on Martha. Roan’s a big fan of the red velvet.

I made my deadline and finished the wedding quilt. I won’t even go into the details of my mess up on the edging. It’s fixed and looks great. I was so pleased with the outcome. I quilted it with a simple stitch in the ditch around the squares with variegated thread. [...]
