Finished the duvet for Amber’s baby shower. It turned out beautiful. I put star appliques with horseshoe print on the lasso side and velco at the bottom. Fits nicely over a crib sized down comforter.

I also wish I would have taken a picture of my fridge when she was here. Like mother, like [...]

After witnessing something tragic from the Aurora Bridge Roan and I walked home. I stuck him in front of PBS, opened myself a beer and started chopping every veggie in my frig. You only need three cups of veggies for this, unless you need chopping therapy too.

Roan’s Duvet Cover

Jeffrey and I use to take epic urban hikes all over Seattle when I would come from Flagstaff. We often would slide onto a barstool along the way. These became such a winter favorite we started experimenting at home to save ourselves a buck or 9. You can use any type of [...]

Another recipe adapted from house beautiful magazine. This is also a Deborah Madison recipe I believe. If you haven’t yet discovered her vegetarian cookbooks make sure to, she’s a gem. I think she lives in Santa Fe now, but use to live in Flagstaff.
I made it on a rainy Seattle night, and [...]
